The Office of Grant Services provides assistance to faculty and staff in the submission of grant applications and with the administration of multiple research, and education/training programs. The office is located in room W503 of the Research Building.

The Lombardi Office of Grant Services:

• Coordinates grant/contract processing and tracking through the Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) Office of Sponsored Research. All PRE-AWARD forms must be submitted to the Office of Grant Services 3 weeks prior to application deadline.
• Provides administrative support for individual and center grants and multiple education/training programs.
• Maintains a shared directory of useful files including standard text, application forms, and agency guidelines.
• Identifies and publicizes sources of cancer research funding on the Lombardi web site.

The GUMC Office of Sponsored Research provides a number of these services for all research areas outside of cancer, however, it is up to the individual researcher to obtain funding. With many publications and searchable databases on the internet, it is very easy to obtain information about sources of funding for all types of research.
